information finds its way to the CAPT webmaster. If you know of other sources -- or you
find errors on this page -- please email the webmaster at hearn@psychtechs.net.

IMPORTANT: Courses are eligible for Psych Tech CE credit if they are:

• Approved by the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT).
• Approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN), but ONLY if the course content is related to Psych Tech practice.
• Approved by any other recognized nursing agency or organization if the course relates to Psych Tech practice.

If you're not sure whether a course is eligible for meeting your CE requirement, it's best to be safe by checking first with the BVNPT's nursing education staff. Phone (916) 263-7843.
