Recruitment & Retention Differentials (R&R)
based on work location.
NOTE #2: The classifications marked with * have parallel
classifications with the words "safety" in parentheses. They are for employees
working with individuals from the criminal justice system. The pay ranges for
the parenthetical classes are the same as salaries for the base classes.
NOTE #3: After the contract was published, pay was INCREASED for Psych Tech and Senior Psych Tech classifications in DMH, DDS and CDCR. Click here for info on those classifications and pay ranges .
NOTE #4: Governor Schwarzenegger's implementation of unpaid furloughs has reduced pay by 13.85 percent for all state Bargaining Unit 18 members. CAPT contends this action is illegal and has filed a lawsuit against the governor.
